1. Some users are seeing the following message when trying to install Scratch Live 2.5 on their Windows computer: This issue can typically be resolved by installing the Microsoft Visual C 2010 Redistributable Package, available from the Microsoft website.
2. Install the latest version of Serato DJ Pro, here. Open Serato DJ Pro. Connect your Rane device with a USB cable to the computer. If the device does not connect, look for the Install Driver button in the right-hand panel of the main Serato DJ Pro user interface, and click on it. Then follow the Rane driver installation steps where prompted - a reboot will be required.
3. Serato partners up with Rane to launch Serato Scratch Live in 2004 with the Rane SL1. DJs could now access and perform with their entire digital music collection using specially designed control records, control CDs, or MIDI controllers. Scratch Live went on to revolutionize the DJ industry.
